Aligned with the growth strategy for The North Alliance (NoA), NoA Ignite is seeking a highly commercial Head of Industry – Retail. In this Strategic role, you will combine strategic insight with a passion for outstanding customer experiences to drive revenue, expand our market presence, and help our clients win the battle for the modern consumer.

Now, we are looking for a leader to take this strong foundation, expand our footprint, and deepen our existing client relationships within the Retail sector.

Your Role and Impact

You will be at the very center of NoA Ignite’s commercial activities. Your main objective is to drive growth by translating complex retail challenges into actionable, profitable digital strategies and growth initiatives where NoA Ignite is relevant to help the client succed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial Leadership: Drive revenue growth, meet sales targets, and open new accounts while growing existing ones through a collaborative team approach.

• Strategic Go-To-Market: Develop and execute strategic GTM and account plans specifically tailored to the retail industry.

• Trusted Advisor: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers. Advise clients on digital transformation roadmaps, customer experience, and the intelligent use of data and AI.

• Thought Leadership: Drive the development of our point of view on the retail industry. Lead proposals, presentations, and pitches for major contracts in collaboration with other NoA agencies.

• Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate closely with our advisory, design, data, and tech teams to ensure we deliver solutions that meet client expectations and timelines.

Who We Are Looking For

You are a commercial driver with a clear vision of where retail is heading, what retailers value, and how a next-gen consultancy can support them.

• Industry Authority: You have strong retail domain experience and an established network of decision-makers within the sector.

• Tech & Strategy Fluency: You possess both the strategic mindset to identify business opportunities and the technical ability to advise clients. You have knowledge of e-com platforms and CMSs in complex environments (experience with MACH architecture is highly preferred).

• Proven Track Record: You have experience managing full project lifecycles—from finding the oppurtunities in the market, pitch and proposal to successful delivery.

• Collaborative Leader: You have excellent communication skills, can motivate high-performing teams, and know how to collaborate cross-functionally across the NoA family. Your not a silver bullet, you scale your industry by driving your own sales but also by coaching a wider set of experts and advisors relevant for your clients.

• Language: Fluent in Norwegian and English (speaking and writing).
